How do I access the exhibitions?
To access exhibitions you need a Wristband (Early Extended Pass or Biennale Pass). First buy a Pass online (here) and then go to one of our Wristband Exchange Points (Groot Handelsgebouw_ Stationplein 49, Nieuwe Instituut, Huidenclub).
What do I get with the early extended pass?
The early extended pass gives you access to an exclusive programme ahead of the offical opening with previews, conferences and private parties. See here.
what do I get with the biennale Pass?
Biennale Passes gives you access to all venues during the whole duration of the Biennale, from 20th 17:00 to 21:00 to 2 March 17:00 as well as the Side Programme.
How Long do I need to visit all the venues?
The Biennale takes place across 5 Main venues and a 15 Partner Venues so even if you can manage in one day, two days are warmly advised to fully see everything.
how do I go from one place to the other?
Our Programme takes place in the Center where you can do everything at walking distance and in West where you can do everything at a walking distance, but we advise you to bring or rent a bike which is the best way to enjoy the Biennale. You can also use the metro to go from Center to West, it is fast and efficient. See here.
What are your opening hours?
Our Main Venues are open from 11:00 to 17:00 daily from 21 February to 2 March (closed on Monday Tuesday). Partners Venues try to align on our hours but may have their own schedule. More info on venues here.
How Can I attend the side programme?
The first two days (19 and 20 February) are reserved to Early Extended Pass holders or Special Guests. All events featured on this page are accessible to everyone with a Biennale Pass (Some need reservations).
How many designers are local vs international?
We have about a 50/50 ratio, local and international.
is IT a FaIR?
No it is not a fair, it is not commercial, we are exhibition based. Nothing is for sale however if you are interested to buy to support a designer, please contact them directly.
WHEN IS THE NEXT EDITION TAKING PLACE?
The next edition will take place in 2027.
How can I support you?
We are self-financed as we received no subsidies. Any support big or small is welcome. Please have a look at this page if you want to be part of this amazing forward-looking design community building event.
