| nieuwe instituut Museumpark 25 3015 CB Nieuwe Instituut, the Netherlands national museum for architecture, design and digital culture, will host the main conference on the 19 February, a children’s workshop in the framework of “FamilieFest”, and a large-scale installation at its entrance. FamilieFest invites kids to become mini curators, selecting and showcasing their own seating creations. |

Koehorst in ’t Veld, an editorial design practice, will curate a show at Voorhaven 57, a foundation housed in a unique 18th-century building in Delfshaven that provides studio space to creative talent in Rotterdam. The exhibition will feature works by design residents, including Phil Procter, Earnest Studio, and David Derksen, highlighting the innovative spirit fostered within its 20 studios.

A Dinner is Served is a semi-performative gesamtkunstwerk created by a collective of artists in a garage-turned-kitchen curated by Anna Aagaard Jensen. Mutated objects and chimeric forms evoke an eerie atmosphere, blending the familiar with the surreal. The pieces explore themes of transformation, connected by uncanny echoes of dining. Two activations will transform the space into a living dialogue between art, mystery, and participation, offering fresh perspectives on re-enchantment.

DAR Cultural Agency connects artists and communities. For the first Design Biennale Rotterdam, they are bringing ceramic artist Yuro Moniz to Een Bloemetje op Tafel, a beloved flower shop in Rotterdam West. The shop will feature three of his monumental museum vases alongside floral arrangements, alongside smaller works.
